• A Message from the President

Toyama is renowned throughout Japan for its pharmaceutical industry. Shohoku Laminate Industry Co., Ltd., originally founded as Nakagawa Seikanjo in 1903, was established to supply packaging for pharmaceutical products.

Our business began with the manufacture of metal cans. Today, we manufacture and sell flexible packaging materials, primarily aluminum foil, and have supplied products to more than 400 customers not only in Toyama but throughout Japan.

Our core strengths lie in our coating and dry-lamination technologies, which enable us to process aluminum foil across a wide range of thicknesses, from very thin to relatively thick materials.

By leveraging these distinctive and highly competitive technologies, we manufacture not only packaging materials for pharmaceutical products but also materials for electronic components that demand even more advanced technical capabilities.

Although our company has a history spanning more than 120 years, our long-standing commitment to putting customers first remains unchanged. At the same time, we will continue to embrace the flexibility needed to respond to a rapidly changing society as we strive to make an even greater contribution to society.

We sincerely thank all of our customers and partners for their many years of continued support and look forward to your continued patronage in the years ahead.
